Specialized Training For You and Your Dog

Practical Training For Peaceful Living

Bringing home a new dog is exciting, and professional guidance makes the transition easier. With the right support, your pup can quickly adapt to your home and expectations.

I specialize in behavior concerns such as reactivity, separation anxiety, and fearfulness. In our first session (1.5–2 hours), we’ll cover basics like manners, obedience, crate and house training, and how to build a strong bond through leadership and mental stimulation.

You only need one session to start, with the option to schedule more as needed. I also offer Puppy Pack Walks and Adult Pack Walks (for dogs 16 weeks and older), which include a mini class in a fun, structured environment. At least one personal session is required before joining a pack walk to ensure the best fit for your dog.

I’d be happy to help you and your pup thrive—contact me by phone or email to book or learn more.

Professional Guidance for Overcoming Common Training Obstacles

  • Reliable obedience and recall are the foundation of a well‑mannered dog. By teaching clear, consistent commands, dogs learn to respond promptly and confidently in any situation. Strong recall ensures safety, builds trust, and allows families to enjoy greater freedom with their dogs both at home and in public.

  • House training is one of the most important foundations for a well‑mannered dog. By establishing routines and consistent expectations, dogs learn where and when it is appropriate to relieve themselves. This process builds confidence, reduces stress for families, and creates a clean, harmonious home environment.

  • Many dogs struggle when left alone, leading to stress, destructive behavior, or excessive vocalization. Through structured training and gradual independence exercises, I help dogs learn to trust the process, and feel safe even when apart from their families.

  • Food aggression can create stress and tension at mealtimes, often rooted in fear, insecurity, or learned behavior. Through calm guidance and structured exercises, I help dogs feel safe and confident around food. They learn to relax, share space peacefully, and trust that their needs will be met without conflict.

  • Creating a safe and positive relationship between dogs and children is essential for harmony at home. I guide families in teaching dogs appropriate behavior around kids while helping children understand how to interact respectfully with their pets.

  • Crate training provides dogs with a safe, comfortable space of their own while supporting house training and reducing anxiety. By introducing the crate gradually and making it a positive experience, dogs learn to see it as a secure retreat rather than confinement.

  • While jumping is often a sign of excitement, it can become a frustrating or unsafe behavior. Through structured training and consistent guidance, I help dogs learn appropriate ways to greet and interact.

  • Leash pulling can make walks stressful and frustrating for both dogs and their families. Through calm leadership and clear direction, I teach dogs to walk politely at your side. This creates safer, more enjoyable outings and strengthens the bond between you and your dog.

  • Reactivity and aggression can be stressful for both dogs and their families. These behaviors often stem from fear, frustration, or lack of clear communication. The goal is to replace tension with trust, creating a safer, more confident relationship between you and your dog.

  • Persistent barking can be frustrating for families and often signals stress, excitement, or unmet needs. I help dogs learn when barking is appropriate and when quiet is expected. The goal is a balanced, confident dog who communicates effectively without disrupting the household.

  • Helping dogs feel confident in new environments is key to training. Through gradual exposure to different sights, sounds, and objects, dogs learn to stay calm and responsive.

  • Healthy boundaries are essential for creating balance and respect between dogs and their families. By setting clear expectations and consistent routines, dogs learn what is acceptable and feel secure in their environment.

  • Some dogs struggle with confidence, becoming anxious or withdrawn in new situations. Through patient guidance and gradual exposure, I help shy and fearful dogs build trust and resilience, and learn to approach the world with calm curiosity.

  • Chasing cats is a common challenge that can create stress and safety concerns for both pets and families. This behavior often stems from instinct, excitement, or lack of impulse control. I help dogs learn to redirect their energy, build self‑control, and coexist peacefully with feline companions.

Welcoming Your New Puppy Home

Clear Steps to a Confident Dog

In this session, we’ll focus on everything your new puppy needs to adjust with confidence. Since veterinarians often recommend avoiding crowded public areas and dog parks before 16 weeks of age—or until after their final round of vaccinations—I provide safe, engaging alternatives to keep your pup entertained and learning.

We’ll cover enrichment and socialization activities, fun games, and essential skills such as house training, crate training, basic obedience, managing chewing, nutrition, and setting healthy boundaries. This session is designed specifically for puppies between 8–16 weeks, giving them the best start in life while helping you build a strong, positive bond.

I help dogs thrive in dog‑friendly environments—whether it’s an office, restaurant, or retail store—by teaching them how to settle calmly, greet politely, and adapt to busy spaces. With both group and individual sessions offered right at your location, training is convenient, engaging, and tailored to your needs.

The result? Happier dogs, more confident owners, and a welcoming atmosphere where customers, employees, and pups can enjoy the benefits of a dog‑friendly culture.
